After shifting focus from film and theatre to my current illustration and graphic design career, and sating my wanderlust with frequent travels, I finally found time yesterday to be involved in my first film shoot of the year...

I was invited to appear in the promotional trailer video for "A Nation In Concert", a charity event that benefits the handicapped in several participating organisations, and I got to act with the soon-to-be-wed-in-Paris and former-Mediacorp artiste, Carole Lin...

Also appearing in this video are four "Hunky Ants" (played by Kenneth, Joseph, Wei and Jeremy), as well as sign-language performer Melvin, who were featured in previous performances of this show...

The crew for this shoot included Jerry Siah (Producer/Trailer Script), David Kong (Financier), Terence Teo (Director), Manfred (Camera/Editor), Tan Soon Kiat (Camera), and Alvin Lim etc...

For those who'd watched previous runs of "A Nation In Concert", this new production, complete with new script by local playwright Desmond Lim, and featuring additional new cast, will be staged at Victoria Theatre on 11th & 12th October, 2008...

The shoot went pretty well and we wrapped way ahead of time. I don't know about the rest, but I had a lot of fun!

And thankfully it didn't rain as it did the past few days. I am now a few shades redder from the blazing sun...
